In this poem the poet has pointed out the divisions in our society. The poet says that rich people are getting all of things they need and they pass unwanted things to the poor or when their appetite has been fulfilled give a small amount of alms to the poor. Poet is of the hope that there would be equality in the society just like the sunshine which spreads all over the world giving its shine to everyone even to a dark round drop of rain hidden under a thick and rich green leave.
The poet is optimistic in this poem and is hopeful that poverty,cruelty,injustice can be eliminated from the world.The sun of happiness will rise and bringing smile on people;s melancholic.He hopes that sufferings pf poor and social discrimination will come to an end.
