The 613 commandments, known to Jews as the Taryag Mitzvot, form the basis of Jewish law. There are 365 negative commandments, telling us what we should not do, and 248 positive commandments. 26 apply only within Israel, and others apply only to certain people (such as the Kohanim priesthood, and women - who are considered holier than men and as such are exempt from commandments such as that to wear tefillin). The full list can be seen at the related link below.
This is a brief listing of the 613 commandments, as recorded and classified by Maimonides in the 12th century. This listing is taken from his classic compendium of Jewish law, the "Mishneh Torah," which contains 14 primary "books" or sections.
This list should not be used as a source for any practical Halachic ruling. There are differences of opinion over the applicability today of some commandments in this list. Similarly, distinctions must often be made between rabbinically-decreed commandments and those that still have binding force as Torah-law today. In all cases of doubt, a competent rabbinical authority should be consulted.
This list is reprinted from the book, "Bible Basics," a user-friendly, illustrated reference guide to the Five Books of Moses. (Published by International Traditions Corporation, Jerome S. Hahn, General Editor.)

Judaism has 613 commandments, and and an untold number of customs and traditions.
By obeying (as much as they can out of) the 613 commandments, which are the basis of the Jewish law.
Keep the 613 mitzvot (or rules). These include the 10 Commandments given on Mt. Sinai to Moses.
613 commandments.
Judaism emphasizes actions over belief. To be an observant Jew is to act in conformance with Jewish tradition, and that requires knowing the tradition. Judaism traditionally holds that Jews are held to 613 commandments found in the Torah, and the Talmud contains a huge volume of sometimes contradictory discussion about how to keep these commandments.
Every aspect (Rashi commentary, Exodus 24:12). The Ten Commandments are tied in one way or another to every one of the Torah's 613 commands (ibid).
These are the 613 commandments that were given by God to the Jewish people.
The 613 Commandments in the Jewish Bible.
There are 613 mitzvot (guidelines) in Judaism, all of which appear in the Torah (known by Christians as the Pentateuch). Judaism also has a fully developed set of laws, similar to those of any country, these laws are called 'halacha' and can be found in the Talmud. For a complete list of these commandments, please check the related link or Google: 613 mitzvot.
Jewish tradition holds that the 613 commandments came from God, but modern halacha (Jewish Law) is the result of a partnership between God and Jews.

Traditional Judaism is founded on the 613 commandments of the Torah. Even nontraditional denominations follow the basic commandments in reinvented ways. All of the commandments for both traditional and nontraditional Jews can be summed up on this famous quote from Rabbi Hillel: What is hateful to you, do not do to another. That is the whole Torah. The rest is commentary. Now go study.
