its showing that we can survive without something while depending on God
If you mean while cooking, well you don't if you're fasting you rely on Allah (God) or you can get someone that isn't fasting to taste it and tell you if it needs a pinch of salt or some black peppers, etc;
==another answer: Fasting is a way to get closer to God, not to lose weight! So yes it is safe when you have God's help! If you are not depending on God then i suggest you not do it.
God will tell you pray to him if no answer wait for a aproach if dosent feel right still try fasting going a while without eating and pray to him
Before he met Him. While he was persecuting the Church.
According to what i understood from your question,we should focus not just only on the act of fasting but on what we do while fasting.That's why JESUS told that we should not show to the people that we are fasting and that we are really exhausted from fasting,while fasting we should focus on how to act as real Christians and how to offer to everyone the real love and affection and to really get near from GOD and i think that this really more important than the act of fasting itself...But acting in general as a real Christian is not only limited on fasting but it is for all the times...
Fasting with sincere intention and devotion to draw closer to God and seek spiritual growth is blessed. Fasting during the month of Ramadan in Islam, Yom Kippur in Judaism, and Lent in Christianity are all examples of fasts that are considered blessed by adherents of those faiths. Ultimately, it is the purity of intention and the sincerity of the act that determine the blessings of fasting in the eyes of God.
Anything that enters the human body while you are fasting breaks your fast.
Pouvoir Dieu récompense votre fasting
NO, You can't chew gum while fasting. As soon as you chew a gum while fasting your fast will break. But, if you're in fast for weight loss then if you think that gum helps you then you can go for it.
When you are fasting you can not eat anything or drink.
