In terms of relationship? No, not necessarily but it would be easier for a christian to be with a christian. I am christian, I've had a number of boyfriends, they are not all christian. Nothing has happened to me. No sins. :L
I actually created this question because I stronglydisagree with the answer to the same question. The Bible tells us that we need to marry Christians, so we should also date Christians, and only Christians. The reason for that is the bible tells us to keep ourselves pure, which also means physically pure, a virgin til after marriage. If we as christians are dating a million guys/girls for sex or other worldly and wrong advantages we are REALLY not following God's word. So no-offence to the anwerer on the previously posted question but that's not true, and if you really want to follow God you need to wait til God presents you with the right christian guy. We need to stand up and do whats right according to God and His word, so even if no one else will, i WILL!!!! :) Hope I made a difference :)
Paul's references to Christians married to non-Christians all refer to couples that married as non-Christians and ONE converted. It would be wrong to take them any other way. Initially in dating a Christian may not be aware the other person is not Christian, this is not what Paul was referring to.
A:
Not at all. In First Corinthians chapter 7, the Apostle Paul discusses issues surrounding marriage to non-Christians. He is talking in a different era, to newly converted Christians who are already married, but the sense is that such a relationship is fine as long as there is no dispute about religion. He says if a Christian man has an unbelieving wife, he should continue to live with her, just as a Christian woman with an unbelieving husband should live with him, unless the unbeliever wishes to separate.
In the Bible it says that you should not be unequally yoked. That means that you should NOT get married to someone who is not a Christian.
2 Cor. 6
14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15 What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God
no
It is customary for Christians to choose who they will marry. But as there are Christians with differing customs this may not always be the case in some Christian groups or families.
Marawill be big and will marry christian and clara will be big and marry christians friend
Christians want to get married in a church because they want to feel the unity between God and themselves.
YES, They are all people.
So they can marry hard core Catholics or Protestants.
Because they do dummy why do u ask such a slilly question
Yes! Christians need to be married in a church because if you do not marry inside the church, marriage will be useless without God's blessings and graces.
Christians can date non-Christians. But, be ready for problems with your marriage. Because if you like going to church, the other person won't, and that can end with long fights. When he/she comes home drunk, its not gonna be pretty. My advice: Don't marry that girl/boy just because she/he's "hot" God looks on the inside, so should you. Marry that person because that person loves God. Be a godly family.
Muslims do not encourage their children not to like Christians. Christians and Jews are people of the book as mentioned in the Quran and the people closer to Muslims are Christians as mentioned in the Quran. Muslims are allowed to marry Christians and Jews as they are people of the book. It is therefore a misconception on your part to think that Muslims are encouraged not to like Christians!
Marriage is a long term commitment. According to the Bible Christians should not divorce.
It depends if he likes her. I don't think religion should matter :)x
