Although it involves real history, as well as practical and personal action the Christian faith is also spiritual. This spirituality is of course under God's control, to whom Christians have surrendered when they were born from above. The Christian faith, specifically Jesus himself in the opening verses of John 3 teaches the absolute necessity of a spiritual birth, since 'flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.'
If it involves spirituality in any sense other than is mentioned or sanctioned in The Bible or is in anyway opposed to clear Bible teaching then no. This would include such things as satanic, new-age, or eastern sprituality.
God says to worship no other gods before Him. However, you can be spiritual in various ways, as long as you do not worship anything or anyone except God. For instance, painting is a spiritual act for me and I allow it to help connect me to God and focus on Him. Of course, that doesn't substitue for normal worship, so I go to church. It all works together to glorify God.
Christianity looks down on materialism as an obstacle to spirituality.

The two species have learned to coexist peacefully in the same habitat.
