Your child was baptised in chapple can you now have him christed in the church?

When a child is baptized ,he is usually given a name in the church at the same time.Baptism is a Christian sacrament and not one specific to a particular denomination. Therefore if your child was baptised in a chalel, then he/she is baptised, period. There is absolutely no need for him/her to be baptised again in a church as he/she is baptised already.

How do you get your replacement baptisment certicicate?

Generally, you should always contact the local church in which you were baptized. Even if the minister who baptised you may no longer be there, the baptism will still be recorded in the church records and will be available to you.

Can you christen your baby Catholic if you or your partner are not?

Catholics are Christians. So any baby baptised in a Catholic Church is being baptised as a Christian. If you want your baby to be a Protestant, another type of Christian, then you would not have them baptised in a Catholic church.

Do catholics believe and order to be saved you need to be baptised?

Catholics believe in the hope of God's mercy that babies who die without baptism will be with God in heaven. Catholics believe that the true church of Christ is the Catholic Church, it also believes that elements of the true church subsist in other churches and believes in the hope that all are saved regardless of faith or baptism if they live a life of goodness in accordance with their beliefs and do not reject God or deliberately turn away from God.

Can you be baptized a Christian then again as a Roman Catholic?

First off, Catholicism is the first and foremost Christian religion as founded by Christ. As to your question, you can only be baptized once. If done properly, the Catholic Church recognizes the baptism as valid. If the Church is uncertain if a person was validly baptized, that person will receive a conditional baptism. "If you were not baptized before, I baptize you in the name of . . . ."

How do I find out if Ive been baptized?

I assume that you wish you know if you have been baptised as an infant, before you could remember such an occasion. In the first instance, you need to ask your parents - or other family who might have acted as godparents. If your parents or family are not around, then there is the church itself. There are no central records of baptism but churches keep their own records. In the UK, for instance, the Church of England keeps its own records. A previous church of mine had records of all baptisms, weddings and funerals going back nearly five hundred years. If you know the area in which you grew up, and you know where the local church or churches are, you can write to their ministers (their names and addresses are usually posted on the Church noticeboard outside the church) and ask them to do a search for you. Give them as much detail as possible including your name, your parents' names and the approximate tiome you might have been baptised (for instance, you would probably remember after the age of 4, so you can narrow it down to at most three years). There might be a small search fee, which is understandable, but usually, if there was a baptism they would most likely find it. If you are not baptised, or the search is not fruitful, and you would like to have been baptised, you can always be baptised 'again'. Ask your local minister about adult baptism, or confirmation, and he or she will give you details of what's involved.

What type of church is the church of England?
