Agape/love--love without conditions.

Some philosophers, like the great thinker Spinoza--who was a very loving person--are pantheists. They assert that for a concept of god to make any sense at all, it must simply be nature. That is, god cannot be something outside nature that controls it, but must necessarily be part of it. Pantheists believe that god is nature, which I respect.

However, as a panentheist/unitheist, I prefer to call attention to the mystery of nature by avoiding using the proper noun 'God' and use the acronym GOD--which does not mean gold, oil and drugs, or good old daddy. It means all that is good, orderly and desirable.

When I am thinking of god as that which is physically, mentally and spiritually beyond me, I will use the acronym GOD. When I am thinking of god as that which is within me and in every atom of my being, I like using the symbol, G0D. Notice that I use a zero, not O.
