Oh yes.
For example: I had a blood clot. I had to take 5 injections over 5 days around my belly. The doctor administered the first, showing my wife how to do the other 4. Those injections may have saved my life, as it encased the clot, also preventing it from moving up the veins to the heart or lung, preventing a heart attack, or stroke.
We also can receive the flu shot.
And many other types of injections.
Of course you've heard we don't take blood injections, or blood transfusions. But no problem. Most EVERYTHING can be accomplished without the use of blood; so we vie for that instead; saving considerable costs; saving ourselves the many complications that come from transfused blood. It also reduces the length of our hospital stays; and allows us to heal much faster.
Below are some news links. (Please note how often you'll hear terms like "risks of blood transfusions".)
