∙ 10y agoWhen writing (in British English), quotations are shown within pairs of quotation marks, i.e. "double" or 'single' inverted commas . This is the correct form for 'direct speech' being quoted, whether the speech/extract being quoted is referring to something previously spoken or written.
If the quotation itself ends with a period, and the quotation is the last clause in the sentence, then the final period can be included, as someone once said, "...inside the quotation marks."
In this way the sentence is ended, with no need of a further period.
When page numbers are cited, unless these are part of a quotation, then quotation marks are not included.

When citing a poem or play, the parenthetical citation should generally include the line number for poetry and the page number for a play. This helps the reader locate the specific passage you are referencing within the work. Make sure to follow the specific guidelines of the citation style you are using.
that depends on if you have ever had your period before, if you have, then yes, even if you are not on your period at the time, but if you have not had your period before, then yes you can if you get your period within 3 days.(sperm can live for up to 3 days) -wulf

It is common to use superscript when documenting sources, such as in academic papers or articles, for citing references like footnotes or endnotes. Superscript numbers are typically used to indicate the source of information within the text, leading readers to the corresponding citation in a bibliography or reference list.
The period of an element in the periodic table can be determined by the number of electron shells or energy levels that the element's atoms have. Each period on the periodic table corresponds to the number of electron shells occupied by the elements within that period.
An increase in atomic number within a specific period corresponds to an increase in the number of protons in the nucleus of the atom. This leads to a higher positive charge, causing the outer electrons to be more strongly attracted to the nucleus. As a result, the atomic size tends to decrease across a period as atomic number increases.
A group of 17 elements is called a period in the periodic table. This period corresponds to the number of electron shells in an atom within that group. Elements in the same period have the same number of electron shells.
The term for the number of electromagnetic waves that occur within a set period of time is frequency. It is measured in hertz (Hz) and represents how many wave cycles pass a fixed point in one second.
The author's last name and page number should be included within parentheses at the end of the sentence, before the period. For example: (Smith 45).
Elements in the same period has same number of valence shells. There are 7 periods in Periodic Table.
