pueblo homes were made out of a special type of clay and straw. they used it for all the homes. they were called adobe bricks. they were a very hard brick. It protected it from heat ,rain, wind, and invader's. the only way to get in the pueblos is by a ladder. at night when everyone was getting ready to go to sleep they pulled up the ladders so no one could get up there. They had very small windows and doors.

Pueblo homes are traditionally made of adobe bricks, which are a mixture of mud, straw, and water that is dried in the sun. The walls are thick and provide insulation against both heat and cold. Roof structures typically consist of wooden beams covered with layers of adobe, clay, or grass.
