When citing a website in APA format, include the author's name (if known), publication date, title of the page, website name, URL, and the date you accessed the information. For MLA format, include the author, page title, website name, publication date, URL, and access date. In Chicago style, cite the author, title of the page, publication date, name of the website, URL, and access date.
First you put the home page starting with www. and ending with .org/.com/.gov. Second you put the date you visited. Third you put the full website of the page you visited. here's an example:
(http:// not needed)www.wiki.answers.com/. January 16, 2010.
(tab) What_is_polar_bear_in_Japanese.
If it is an Entire internet site:
Title of the Site (underlined). Editor. Date and/ or version number. Name of Sponsoring Institution. Date of Access .
example:
Encyclopedia Mythica (underlined). 2004. 13 May 2004
If it is a document from a web site:
Author (last name, first name). "Title of Web Page." Title of Site (underlined). Editor. Date and/or Version Number. Name of Sponsoring Institution. Date of Access .
example:
Sherman, Chris. "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About URL." SearchEngineWatch(underlined). Ed. Danny Sullivan. 24 Aug. 2004. 4 Sept. 2004 .
These are the standards according to the MLA version. I found this on http://honolulu.Hawaii.edu/legacylib/mlahcc.html. You can find citing books and scholarly journals, and just about everything on this website. Its great. After every period, or semi colon, or any punctuation besides commas, you NEED to do 2 spaces. You need to double space your paper as well.
First write the author of page, last name first, followed by a period.
Then the title of the page in quotes, followed by a period.
Next the title of the entire website, underlined, followed by a period.
Finally the full URL address of the page, beginning with http://, followed by the date you visited the site in parentheses, followed by a period.
Example: Grimes, Barbara F., ed. "South Africa." Ethnologue.
http://www.sil.org/ethnologue/countries/Sout.html (4 Feb 1999).
The above is for the site. For specific questions go the very top of the page and copy.
Just be careful to cross check the citation, because it is possible (due to the Wiki nature of this site) that some answers may be incorrect. In other words, you should, strictly speaking, give the date on which you accessed the page.
Yes you must cite it.

easybib.com does MLA for free, and other formats for a monthly fee.
"Cite" means to quote or refer to a source, while "site" refers to a specific location or place, such as a building site or website.
you should never use this website as a source. along with wikipedia.com.
There's "site" (like a website) and "sight" (like seeing).
The newest way to cite a website in MLA format includes listing the author's name (if available), the title of the webpage, the name of the website, the publication date or date last updated, the URL, and the date accessed. Make sure to follow the latest MLA guidelines for formatting and punctuation.
To cite an entire website on a works cited page in MLA format, include the author (if available), the title of the website in italics, the publication or copyright date, the URL, and the date you accessed the site. In APA format, include the author, date of publication, title of the website in italics, and the URL.
If you cite the website and if you have permission from the copyright owner or web site.
