Train Controls suite combines Raildriver Commander and Engine Commander software to provide complete control of your model railroad layout using the RailDriver CAB Console from PI Engineering. RailDriver hardware connects to your desktop PC using a USB device interface. KAM's RailDriver Commander software allows the RailDriver unit to be installed anywhere on a local area network (or wireless network). RailDriver Commander communicates to Train Server to control the locomotive through the DCC command station.
Normally, in a Hansom cab, it was a horse drawn carriage.
That is the cab computer.

They have flanged wheels - so every wheel "steers", but the direction of the train is controlled by the track - thus no "steering wheel" in the cab.
Conventionally it's the locomotive, but it may just be a control car, or a car with a control cab.
Yes, it can.

Cabooses were used for the brakemen (train guard, hence its alternative name, guard car) or extra crew members. They were used for radio comunications, braking and monitor the train. Now the ETD (end of train device) or red flags symbolize the ends of trains now. By moving the radios to the cab of the engine the conducter could ride in the front with the engineer. This mainly happened after steam locomotives because in a steam engine cab there is the engineer and fireman and no room for anyone else.
