It has been proven that the presence of school uniforms in schools can reduce the frequency of bullying. This does not fully eradicate the problem from our schools however it is an excellent method of showing the students that they are an academic community, that together they are "one", and as such they aught to treat each other with respect.

Wearing school uniforms can sometimes reduce bullying related to appearance and clothing choices. However, bullying can still occur for other reasons, so it is not guaranteed to eliminate all instances of bullying. Other interventions and strategies may be necessary to address the root causes of bullying.

Do school uniforms help school?

I think that school uniforms help schools and students because if there are no school uniforms, kids that are not that wealthy would find it hard keeping up with the new fashion trends which could lead to bullying. It also helps the schools because they have less problems to deal with like bullying. It also makes the school look more presentable. Its sorta 50/50 though, many people would hate them and not many people actually care about fashion and plus not many people would bully someone for that reason.

Do parents have less arguments about clothes when kids wear uniforms?

How much do school uniforms?

School uniforms are not typically sold at supermarkets. You would have to go to a specialty uniform school that supplies uniforms for your particular school. Costs for uniforms can vary depending on whether the school is a private school or a public school. Sometimes the schools themselves will make uniforms available for purchase but typically they will be a bit less expensive if you deal directly with the uniform supply company.

Do uniforms stop bulling or make it become worse?

I think it will help stop the bulling because if all children wear uniform no one can pick. On ones that are less fortunate than themselves., Because if you go to school wearing your own clothes. And you dont have much money, it becomes obvious over a period of time who are the less fortunate ones therefore those kids are the ones that are likely to get bullied.

Why should school were uniforms?

Not every school has uniforms, but there are some that uniforms are mandatory. Some types of school include: private schools, Catholic, military, Ect. I think school uniforms should be a must have in every school, when students wear the school uniforms it shows the similaraites between them. When uniforms are in schools students tend to treat each other with more respect because they cant judge each other on what they are wearing, cause they are all wearing the same thing. When a student is wearing a school uniform it shows that they go to school and what school that they go to. It is believed to make students proud and more dignified and less likely to get into fights. Also it is believed to help the bullying problem for not having the " name brand' clothing. I think that school uniforms help schools and students because if there is no school uniforms, kids that are not "wealthy" would find it hard to keep up with the new school trends witch could lead to bullying. It also helps with the schools cause they have less problems to deal with , like bullying for example, it would also make schools look more presentable. School uniforms started a long time ago, they started in around 1961. school uniforms started to make students feel important, like they were in some sort of organism. If school uniforms are inforced in every school students cant judged other students on what they wear. A good idea would have school uniforms on certan days and not on the other for example: have uniforms every other day, so that students can show a bit of their own personality in their cloths that they wear, and if they are not that " wealthy" than they can just wear their uniform every day, " if they want to." the major reason that I think school uniforms wold be bullies, I have been bullied my whole life on what I have worn cause I did not have that much money as a kid and I know how it feels to not have the brand of clothing that every other kid is wearing and I know it is not fun to be made fun of cause of ur cloths.

What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of school uniforms?

Well... School uniforms give the person less personality when they dress for school, but they cannot be teased or made fun of because of the things they wear which is wonderful. personally uniforms are much better then the other options.

Should girls were panties under there uniforms or not?

No. It makes school less enjoyable

Do students in panama wear school uniforms?

There are two explanations. First, it is far less expensive to buy uniforms than to buy full clothing for all the kids' weekly activities: most children tend to play anywhere and get really dirty in the process, quickly wearing and tearing their cloths. The other reason is about how much easier is to identify those kids on their way in or out of the school, to prevent any kidnappings.

Do students who wear school uniforms get made fun of less?

Depends how you look at it. By students within their school, yes because there is less to judge people on at first glance... but outside of school, the uniform does nothing for you.

How will uniforms improve attendance?

One of the theories regarding this is that if everyone is wearing the same thing, children won't get teased for not having the latest trend in designer jeans or whatever, and therefore might feel less anxiety about coming to school. Kids being kids, they'll get teased anyway for being fat or short or skinny or tall or freckled or heaven knows what, but it's a nice theory. If nothing else, uniforms make the kids who decide to skip school and hang out at the mall instead more obvious.
