I believe that psychology is important to understand people and therefore there is a better chance of helping people that are in need for it (such as people with mental illnesses/addictions). Psychology can also give great in-depth information of why we do the things we do and the differences in people and how and why we need to help them. I feel that psychology has a great importance within relation to society and the future. :)
