Considering the types of weapons the military has that we don't know about, I'd say there is a good chance we could take on a mastodon and certain dinosaurs without much trouble. Some dinosaurs that might give us trouble are the Tyrannosaurus Rex (and similar) and any armored Herbivore with attitude.
The antonym of prehistoric would be, modern.

Probably some of them (example:crocodile). The crocodile is a modern species of what use to be a prehistoric creature. The species would adapt based on the environment due to natural selection. just to expand on that the croc has remained unchanged since the time of the dinosaurs,
Prehistoric: put a pterodactyl's wings on an allosaurus or T-rex. Modern: add very large bat wings on a monitor lizard such as the komodo dragon.
Unless of course Jesus was divine as most Christians believe, he would have known nothing about prehistoric animals. In fact ,he would not even have understood what this meant.
It cannot. They did not have books to learn from.
The most commonly known prehistoric animals are dinosaurs. But others would think of the woolly mammoth or the saber tooth tiger. Usually most people think of the animals that had lived during the ice age.
Pleistocene
I would want to see the great variety of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals, and hopefully get to observe their behavior.
frogs evolved from more lizard-shaped amphibians, most likely during the Triassic, more than 200 million years ago. Triadobatrachus is a fossil of what is clearly a frog that lived 240 to 245 million years ago in Madagascar. all other frogs are believed to have evolved from this animal or its close relatives. now you can find them almost everywhere from deserts to trees. ON THE TERM 'Prehistoric' all animals are prehistoric, except the animals people have created through genetic splicing or selective breeding. the term 'prehistoric' is from anthropology. its' used to describe something that came from a culture that existed before people started keeping records. 'prehisoric' doesn't really have a meaning in biological science. just about every animal you see is 'prehistoric'. prehistoric animals would include every animal that originated before humans started writing things down. recorded history only goes back about 5000 or 6000 years, so even modern humans are prehistoric.
griffins are not real animals so please do not put it in prehistoric list and i would asume they hunt alone
The most dangerous prehistoric species is that of Dinosaurs. The dinosaurs can be carnivores or herbivores. If the carnivores were alive, by now they would have eaten a large number of animals and human beings. Such a carnivore is Velociraptor. The herbivores are no danger for us.
