∙ 8y agoThere are two reasons why minor parties rarely succeed on a national scale. 1-Lack of money needed to run a successful campaign, now approaching U.S. $ 1 billion; small parties cannot raise that sort of money, 2-Small parties typically are one-issue oriented, and don't have the national following necessary to raise the money needed to compete.

In the past few years, the effect that political parties have influence American life even more. The right and the left are more partisan than in many years causing partisanship among citizens.
They take votes away from major parties candidates.

It sets goals for America to live by, and to represent our freedom.
The outcome could strain relations between the British and the American Colonists if the colonists feel resentment towards British authority for unfavorable decisions. However, if the outcome is favorable, it could strengthen relations by fostering greater trust and cooperation between the two parties.
Minor parties take votes away from the candidates of other parties.
Political parties influence the federal court with presidential nominated judges, and congress and judiciary shared powers.
The groups that have the most influence on the legislation are the democratic and republican parties. At times, liberal and independent parties do play a role in influencing the legislation.
