Tudor came first then followed by Stuart. When Queen Elizabeth died she made James (then king of Scotland) King making him ruler of both Scotland and England, uniting the two countries and creating the union jack flag.
the royal tudor line started in 1485 with Henry Tudor (now known as henry vii) after he defeated richard iii in the war of the roses. he was married to elizabeth of york, she gave birth to three children 2 were male heirs. the oldest and prince of Wales was author however before his father died he did probably of tuberculosis (TB). so when henry vii died his other son Henry VIII became king. it is widely known that henry had 6 wives but only the first three bore children. his first wife Catherine of aragon's only surviving child was mary tudor. his second wife Anne Boylen's only surviving child was Elizabeth tudor and henry's third wife was Jane Seymour produced henry's one and only surviving son Edward tudor. by divorcing his first wife and killing his second he bastardized his 2 female children but with no other surviving children near the end of his reign he reinstated his two daughters as rightful and lawful heirs to his throne. on the 28th january henry viii died and edward was declared as King Edward vi of england. he was nine years old. he never married and never had any children and died when he was just 15 years old. however he was protestant and mary was catholic so going against his fathers will he changed the tudor line to the greys. so that what happened in 1553. the greys oldest child became queen however before she could be coronated she was denied the crown and mary tudor was crowned queen. she married the spanish crowned prince however they failed to produce an heir and the prince also lost interest. so in 1558 when mary died Elizabeth became queen. as commonly know she refused to marry and as a consequence produced no children. so when she died in 1603 the line was passed (also against her fathers last will) to her scottish cousin James Stewart vi of scotland.
