The US Constitution is a legal constitution as it uses the judiciary to check the power of the executive. Political constitutions use the legislative to check executive power as is seen with most Westminster-style parliaments.
Religion is a personal and spiritual belief system that often focuses on moral and ethical values. When religion aligns with political power, it risks becoming entangled in partisan agendas, compromising its original purpose. This can erode its credibility, as political power dynamics fluctuate and different factions and ideologies come into play. Furthermore, any misuse or abuse of political power by religious leaders can lead to disillusionment among the faithful, causing religion to lose its moral authority.

The cause of political power is because the political leaders are stupid. They let the power go to their head and then they take it out on the Africans that they "control". Well, as you know, the Africans don't like that.

Generally speaking, a military revolution removes the power of government from that country's political leaders and installs military leaders as the new "governing" body. Many times this is temporary until political leaders who by and large agree with the military's positions on key issues are installed as the "new" political leaders.
