King Edward VI of England was the son of King Henry VIII and his third wife, Jane Seymour.

Although he had two older sisters, who later also became monarchs of England, he took precedence over them because he was male.

He became king on 28 January 1547 aged nine, and died on 6 July 1553.

It is possible, but unlikely. He is 7th in the line to the throne, and is unlikely to ever inherit it unless something disastrous happens to Charles, Andrew and their children.

Who was Henry Tudors son?

Henry VIII only ever had one legitimate son, Edward (to Jane Seymore, his 2nd wife) who did take the throne but died a few years later to be succeeded by his elder sister Mary, who was later succeeded by Elizabeth I.Henry was reputed to have other sons through his mistresses though. Henry Fitzroy, whose mother was Elizabeth "Bessie" Blount. Fitzroy was made Duke of Richmond in 1525 in what some thought was Henry's first step in legitimatising him. Fitzroy died three years after his marriage to Mary Howard in 1533, while the King was trying to pass a law that would allow his otherwise illegitimate son to become King.Henry Carey (Mary Boleyn's son) was never acknowledged, as Henry's other illegitimate son was, although there is high speculation that he was also Henry's biological child.Yes, Henry the 9th

What is the historical accuracy of Ever After?

There is absolutely NO accuracy to Ever After. Besides the face there was a Francis the I of France who had a son named Henry. Henry will become Henry II and married a lady named Catherine de Medici when he was 15 or so. He most definitely was not in love with a woman named Danielle. He did have an affair with his former nanny though :)

Who made more changes to England Henry VIII or edward?

Probably Henry VIII made more changes than his son Edward VI. Mainly because Henry was on the throne longer. Henry dissolved the monasteries and made England a protestant country. Edward only reigned for six years and he was only sixteen when he died. He mainly continued to implement the changes that his father had set in motion. While Henry may have abandoned the Catholic faith and created the Church of England for political and personal reason. There is no doubt that Edward was a true believer in the Church of England as a religion and if he had grown up to be a man he may well have proven to be a much greater force for change than his father ever was.

Did edward ever become king?

Seven of them did. If you mean Edward VIII ... he became king upon the death of his father, George V, but Edward abdicated the throne in 1936 in order to marry Wallis Simpson, an American divorcee. He and Wallis spent the rest of their lives as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.
