As far as participating in the work force of America goes, I would say they both work about equally. However, there are many areas where women do work harder then men.
For example, women are expected to go through pregnancy (try walking around with a yoga ball where your stomach should be, buster) birth, and have periods once a month where they want to eat or kill everything in sight, as well as cramps and that fun stuff.
Second of all, research shows that while it made no difference for men, women have less chance of landing a job if they are over weight.
Not to complain, but there is constant pressure to be pretty, beautiful, and honestly, some girls treat each other like dirt.
And then, we have to take care of kids, cook, clean, etc. in most households. That means that while the kids are at school, there is nobody to keep you company and you spend most of the day standing.
So yea, women work pretty hard.
guys, too, though.
Being a guy can be very competitive, among other things.
Also, guys pay for dates, pull out chairs, and are forced to be gentlemen.
IDK. If a guy could add to this, that would be cool, since I don't want this to sound sexist with just one point of view. But anyway, if nobody can add...
that just proves my point. Girls work their butts off.
On average, men typically earn more than women due to factors such as occupational segregation, discrimination, and the gender pay gap. However, it is important to note that this varies depending on the country, industry, and job role. Efforts to close the gender pay gap are ongoing to ensure equal pay for equal work.
Spending habits can vary based on individual preferences and circumstances, rather than gender. Both men and women may spend money on different items or activities depending on their priorities, needs, and financial situation, making it difficult to generalize one gender as wasting more money than the other.
In general, women tend to vote at slightly higher rates than men in most countries. This difference is often influenced by factors such as education level, age, and socioeconomic status. However, voting trends can vary by country and election.
Women were considered radically different from men due to traditional gender roles and stereotypes that emphasized women's perceived physical and emotional differences, such as being more nurturing and domestic. These beliefs led to the social, economic, and political marginalization of women, portraying them as less capable than men in various aspects of life. Furthermore, historical patriarchal norms reinforced the idea that women were inherently inferior to men, perpetuating this perception of radical difference.
The Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU) did not admit men as members because it was founded as a women's suffrage movement aimed at advocating for women's political rights and representation. Excluding men was a strategic decision to emphasize the need for female empowerment and to focus on achieving women's voting rights.
men will work harder if they had their familys
in my opinion, women work more than men because they also design men's clothes as well as men design women's clothes but i think that women work harder because they know what's hot and what's not!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, I'm sure they both work, on average, as hard as each other. But there are probably more women in the fashion industry than men, so therefore it would seem that women work harder as they get more done. But on an individual basis they probably work the same.
Yes because they are the ones who WORK HARDER than MENand plus, woman are smarter and hardworking than men who plays video games and sports. That last part is completely wrong men work harder than women who just gossip. :p
Men would work harder if they had families.
They are the key motivators for reforms. They pile pressure on the 'men' to work harder by trying to out compete the men.
. Some do, they are the one's being taken for and others do not. Most would say that women have it harder
the do because the women are smarter than men because men brain work like a peanut thinking
Women had the additional responsibility of taking care of the family
Of Course!!Everything is harder 4 women...but they handle it so much better then the men!! Sucked in!!Of Course!!Everything is harder 4 women...but they handle it so much better then the men!! Sucked in!!
i think women are happier than men because woman have more things fun to do than men and men are always the ones who have to work i guess
Men are much harder to understand than women. Men tend to be more competitive. Men are more visually-driven. Men tend not to build strong relationships through conversation, and they switch topics more frequently than women do. Men can't always identify emotions as quickly as women can. It is harder for men to be "just friends" with women. While women may openly express concern about a failed project, men may retreat and seek solitude in the face of failure.Women are happier when they are complimented on a group task, while men do not like to be singled out.
No they were not. Men were paid more than women for the same work and women tended to be relegated to low paying jobs that were not valued, such as: housecleaners, cooks, waitresses, phone operators and hairdressers. It was much much harder for a woman to get a degree and when she did, she had a hard time finding work in a professional field, such as being a lawyer or doctor. Even in those fields, women were paid far less than their male counterparts.
