But if the father refused to listen then he should " Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears , I pray, rage, rage against the dying of the light".

The t sound is used quite often eg not, gentle, that, night

the next line is rage, rage against the dying of the light

so there's more alliteration there, again using the t sound.
