There is a clear tone of despair and Horror presented by Sassoon throughout the poem, "masked with fear". There is a strong sense of fear and build of tension created to convey conflict as a frightening experience. The auditory power of the poem appeals to the senses of the reader, afflicting fear as the noises of battle are portrayed. The soldiers themselves are terrified of 'going over the top' and Sassoon includes this with prominence. - wrote this myself don't know if its any good but hope i helped :)

"Attack" by Siegfried Sassoon conveys a sense of fear through vivid imagery detailing the horrors of war, the chaotic and disorienting nature of battle, and the emotional impact on soldiers faced with imminent danger. The poem's stark descriptions and urgent tone capture the fear and uncertainty experienced by soldiers in combat.

Does the poem convey a sense of justice in rime of the ancient?

The poem "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" does not necessarily convey a sense of justice. It explores themes of guilt, redemption, and the consequences of one's actions rather than a clear-cut sense of justice being served. Does the poem rime of the ancient mariner convey a sense of justice?

it does convey a sense of justice. The situation of the ancient mariner who has to suffer throughout his life with a sense of guilt is justified. it does justice to the albatross whom he killed on impulse as well as to the other mariners who lost their lives as a result of suffering caused by the ancient mariner. It teaches us to respect nature & the creatures that live in it.
