Inspiration and imagination are essential for a poet to perceive and pursue his work. Once he is endowed with these prerequisites, ideas images and words flow through his mind as a stream. He skilfully arranges these in the thread of a passing tune to make the garland of a poem. Each person will have an individual style of thinking and speaking and so will have the poet too, which determines his style of diction and narration. To the skilled, it is an easy task. Attempted by the unskilled, it will not be poetry. But in poetry, experience and daring is what determines skill. As poets are expected to be intelligent, if they like what they have written, normally others would like it too.
