Because when it starts to grow and it starts to grow bigger and bigger not also the plant gets bigger but the roots move about and get thicker and longer and if it is a little pot or somthing then when the plant does start to get bigger then the roots will have no more space to dig down and they will go all over the soil like the soil us covered in roots and then it will get to a place were they can't grow any more so the plant will die but somtimes u may even have the roots starting to grow on your plant so u only like have them in a little pot when it is just a seed and for little plants but if u plant somthink like runner beans or somthink in the ground they start to grow all over your garden I got mine even growing the my trampoilen and going thuoghe the grass but if u have a rabbet or so think witch is free so it can run all the gatlrden no in a run or somthink if u plant anythink in the ground they normal eat wat ever u planted but the problam isnthat they don't eat the roots so the plant gps bk again and it goes every were so just beware and that is wat happens to my runner beans my rabbet ate them but sadly he is died now :( but yh this normal happens to runner beans cucombers and more of those kind of things but they spread very fast it will happen toothed plants and stuff but if they r not like runner beans and stuff they still spread but not so fast lol alot of writing there lol don't worry it took me half an hour to write all this lol not really only 10 mins sincerly bethany-k xXx
