The purpose is to plant trees that will consume carbon gas products generated in the production of energy.
The problem is that any 'dirty' electricity used to run the A/C (coal/diesel) was
generated at location far away, so the best you can hope for is to recycle those gases near a high pollutant environment.
Cities are ideal as there is constant traffic, but rarely can anybody afford real estate to accomplish this. If you are near a road, that is a decent place.
Fly less! You can't plant trees at 30,000 feet.
Consider planting the tree on the South side of your building to eventually provide shade, reducing the need for A/C. (or whatever side would accomplish this)
"Where" should you plant trees to save on the air conditioning costs of a building?
You should plant shady trees around the building to cool off the building along with the air conditioning unit.
its bulding full of air
Anywhere :P
Yes, because if we plant more and more trees our air will be clean and fresh. and because if we plant more trees now we will have more in the future !!!!
as the trees are lungs of the earth we should not chop trees and just plant them.
Plant trees to the south and west of the building to provide shade from the afternoon sun, which can help reduce heat radiation and cooling costs. Deciduous trees are ideal as they can provide shade in the summer and allow sunlight through in the winter when their leaves fall. Planting trees strategically can help create a natural barrier to reduce heat absorption by the building.
The large trees steel the water, so the small plant suffocates.

Anything but trees should be ok.
