There are many advantages to hydroponics growing, but I'll just name the basics.

  • the crops grow much faster and produce more fruit
  • the water need is less
  • you can grow anytime of the year, whether its in the summer time in the green house or winter in your garage, which is very easy to do with the right lighting.
  • you get more food per square foot than in the dirt
  • you can choose how fast plants grow

with all of these advantages though, there are some disadvantages.

  • you need to have the right way to grow your plants, otherwise it wont work, and it can be tricky to figure out the right one.
  • you need a good place which can sometimes be a problem
  • you need to figure out how much fertilizer to use, to much, your plants die, too little, your plants die.

basically there are many advantages and i think that if your planning to do hydroponics you should just go for it there are many cool plans for your hydroponics device all you have to do is watch some you tube video's and you ll find the perfect one. its the wave of the future, just go for it!
