I just started growing my own wheatgrass so I can juice it right away after cutting. Here's how I grew it.

1. I soaked the wheatgrass seed for 2 days in water
2. I emptied the water and placed the seeds on soil in a plastic growing tray
3. I watered daily and it 7 days it was 8 inches long and ready to juice

It depends on location, soil type, fertility, type of wheat, and a number of other factors. It can range from as little as three months to as long as ten months.
