What is Eglantine as a food?
Eglantine is a flower - a type of wild rose - not usually
thought of as a food.
I have seen rose petals crystallised, then used to decorate
cakes. I don't know if that counts as food.
Rose petals can be steeped in water to produce rose-water. This
is an important flavouring for Turkish Delight, and also for the
Indian dish Gulab Jamon.
