Does anyone smell flowers right after a death of a loved one?

This happened to me twice in my life.

I smelled flowers (like an immense bouquet of flowers was right beside me).

Both times were followed by someones death. So it's not an illusion, but it's very difficult to explain to people who never experienced this. I believe it's like a warning of a near death at least in my case both times somebody died afterward.

But in my case it was before they died.
