first find the base of the triangle. you can do this by the base times height formula. if you don't have the height then use the pythagorean theory which is a squared+ b squared= c squared. now since i'm supposing you have the base, just times it by the height and divide the total by three and tahdah, there you go. hope this helped
The volume of prism A can be calculated by applying the scale factor A to the volume of prism B. Since the scale factor A is 1, the volume of prism A is also 1000 cubic feet.
The formula to find the volume of an object depends on its shape. For a cube or rectangular prism, the volume is length x width x height. For a cylinder, the volume is π x radius^2 x height. And for a sphere, the volume is 4/3 x π x radius^3.
A prism is a three-dimensional shape with two parallel and congruent bases connected by rectangular faces. The volume of a prism is given by multiplying the area of the base by the height of the prism. The surface area of a prism is calculated by adding the areas of all its faces.
To calculate the volume of a box-shaped object, you would multiply the length, width, and height of the box together (V = l x w x h). This formula works because the volume of a rectangular prism is calculated by multiplying its three dimensions.
To find the length, we can use the formula for the volume of a rectangular prism: length x width x height = volume. Given that the width is 2 and the height is 4, we can plug in these values and the volume of 24 to find the length. So, length x 2 x 4 = 24, which simplifies to length x 8 = 24. Dividing both sides by 8, we find that the length is 3 units.
The volume of a rectangular prism can be found by the formula: volume=length*width*height
Volume of a Rectangular Prism The volume of a rectangular prism can be found by the formula: volume=length*width*height
Volume = (length) times (width) x (height)
the formula is length x width x height
The volume of a rectangular prism is given by the formula volume of rectangular prism = length x width x height If the length is l, the width is w and the height is h the volume is given by volume = lwh
Volume = length x width x height (rectangular prism)
The volume of a rectangular prism is found by multiplying the base by the rectangle by the width of the prism, leading to the formula: lwh = Awhere l is the length of the prismw is the width of the prism andh is the height of the prism.
The formula will depend on what it is that you are trying to find: the volume or the surface area.
Depends whether you want the formula for surface area, volume, perimeter, size of sphere it would fit into etc... Please clarify next time.
the width times the length then that times by the height
W = Volume x weight density
length x width x height
