140 decibells cause damage to the ears permanently but from 90 it can damage your ears temporarily 140 deibells is as loud as a jackhammer

If you are listening to your iPod and it's 40 decibels you can listen for up to 8 hours before it causes damage to your ears, if it's 80 you can listen for 15 minutes, (I think that's right anyway) and if it's 120 you can only listen for ten seconds before it causes permanent damage to your ears. If you are in a room and you need to shout to be heard by someone two metres away it is too loud and you need to go somewhere quiter.

A noise level of around 120-130 decibels is considered to cause immediate damage to the ears, especially in prolonged exposure. This level of noise can lead to hearing loss and discomfort in the ears. It is important to protect your ears from exposure to such high decibel levels to prevent long-term harm.

What is the loudest pitch?

Pitch does not determine loudness, and loudness does not determine pitch. Loudness is the measure of sound pressure (dB), while pitch is the frequency at which an object vibrates. You cannot say any pitch is louder than another, because pitch and sound intensity are completely independent of each other.

What damage could extreme loudness have on your ears?

Extreme loudness can cause temporary or permanent hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), and damage to the delicate hair cells in the inner ear. Prolonged exposure to loud noise can also increase the risk of developing noise-induced hearing loss over time.

What effects loudness?

Loudness can have both physical and psychological effects. Physically, exposure to loud sounds can damage the hair cells in the inner ear, leading to hearing loss. Psychologically, loud noises can cause stress, anxiety, and even physical discomfort such as headaches or increased heart rate.

The immediate destructive action of a nuclear explosion is caused by this?

The immediate destructive action of a nuclear explosion is caused by the release of an immense amount of energy in the form of heat, blast pressure, and radiation. This energy can cause widespread damage to buildings, infrastructure, and living organisms within the blast radius.

What causes the greatest damage in a explosion?

The release of energy in an explosion causes the greatest damage, as it generates a powerful shock wave that can dismantle buildings, rupture organs, and cause severe injuries. The heat and debris thrown off by the explosion also contribute to the overall damage.

What are the 3 failure types caused by esd damage?

The three failure types caused by ESD (electrostatic discharge) damage are catastrophic failure, latent failure, and parametric failure. Catastrophic failure results in immediate and permanent damage, latent failure causes delayed failure after the initial damage occurs, and parametric failure leads to a shift in the component's performance without immediate visible damage.
