Force is a description for an interaction between bodies. Usually a pull and/or push. To figure out how much force it would take to move a 50lb box you need: box weight, gravity, friction on the ground and an angle that your pushing.

Even when you stand still on earth there are forces pushing or pulling to keep your feet on the ground.

In physical science, force is a push or a pull that can cause an object to accelerate, decelerate, or change direction. It is measured in units called Newtons (N) and is a vector quantity, meaning it has both magnitude and direction. Force is responsible for the motion of objects and interactions between them.

What is force in physical science?

Force in physical science is a push or pull that causes an object to move, stop, or change direction. It is a vector quantity, which means it has both magnitude and direction. Forces can be exerted through contact (like pushing a box) or at a distance (like gravitational force).

Is physical therapy a life science or physical science?

Physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques are a multidisciplinary fusion between life and physical sciences. Life science form the medical understanding of anatomy and disease/injury pathologies. Physical sciences use the concepts of force, mass, and mechanical engineering to design methodologies to treat and rehabilitate skeleton-muscular systems.
