EXPLANATION:-

We know that:-

K.E = 1/2 m v^2

=> K.E is directly proportional to the square of velocity.

Conclusion:-

If velocity becomes tripled than K.E. becomes Nine times to its initial value.

If velocity is tripled, the kinetic energy of an object will increase by a factor of nine. This is because kinetic energy is directly proportional to the square of the velocity according to the equation KE = 0.5 * m * v^2.

Kinetic energy is the one half the mass multiplied by the square of the velocity, K=1/2mv2. If mass is doubles, the kinetic energy doubles. If the velocity doubles, the kinetic energy is increase by 22 or 4 times. Therefore, if both the mass and velocity are doubled, the kinetic energy increases by a factor of 8.

This depends on how the momentum is tripled.

Momentum = mass * velocity, (p=mv)

Kinetic Energy = (1/2) * mass * velocity squared, (K = (1/2)mv2)

Momentum can be tripled by tripling the mass, in which case Kinetic Energy would also be tripled. Momentum can also be tripled by tripling the velocity, in which case Kinetic Energy will be tripled by a factor of 9.

Momentum could also be tripled by a combination of chaining the masses and velocities, in which case the Kinetic Energy could increase by a lot or even decrease. All we know for sure is that if momentum is tripled, Kinetic Energy will remain above zero (assuming you're not 'tripling' a zero momentum).

Look at the formula for kinetic energy. Clearly, the kinetic energy is proportional to the square of the velocity: the formula is (some other factors) times speed squared. Therefore, if you change the velocity by a factor of "a", the kinetic energy will change by a factor of "a squared".

it goes as velocity squared so if tripled energy increases by 9

Assuming you are nowhere near the speed of light, twice the speed will result in four times the kinetic energy.
