a grid is aa pattern of regularly spaced horizontal and vertical linespower system: a system of high tension cables by which electrical power is distributed throughout a regionso basically it is used to view information more easily and more organized!
The grid current in a vacuum tube increases as the grid voltage becomes more positive and decreases as it becomes more negative. Excessive grid current can damage the tube and cause distortion in the output signal. It is important to operate vacuum tubes within their specified grid current limits to prevent damage.
Objects such as cars, airplanes, and boats contain multiple sources of energy as they typically use a combination of gasoline, electricity, and sometimes solar power or kinetic energy. Additionally, some buildings integrate a mix of energy sources, like electricity from the grid, solar panels, and geothermal heating systems.
A force field is an invisible barrier that can vary in appearance depending on the context in which it is depicted, such as a shimmering energy shield or a grid-like structure. In sci-fi and fantasy depictions, force fields are often shown as semi-transparent or colored barriers that glow or pulse with energy.
A dynamo is a device that generates electricity by converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. Within the national grid, dynamos play a crucial role in power plants where they produce electricity that is then transmitted and distributed across the grid to meet the electricity demands of consumers.
It normally means to make an object of some kind line up to a grid reference. IE icons on a windows desktop. Imagine an invisible grid, and when you arrange by type or name the icons snap to that grid. Another example is drawing on graph paper.
If you have Excel 2007 or higher, click the shape or object in the worksheet. In Drawing Tools on the Format tab, in the Arrange group, click Align. Then, to position shapes or objects to the closest intersection of the grid, click Snap to Grid or to position shapes or objects to grid lines that go through the vertical and horizontal edges of other shapes or objects, click Snap to Shape.
They are the lines of latitude and longitude.
What do objects snap to when you move them
Press the "Grid" button on the right panel (invisible until you put your mouse by right arrow) near the middle.
Grid boards align your fabric grain while pinning and cutting. You simply put the grid under your fabric and pattern. Rotary cutters like mats and wide rulers are revised grid boards that are used for above and underneath fabric.

You do not add more grid lines, they are present for all displayed cells. But, you can turn the grid lines on or off. In Excel 2007, go to the Page Layout tab in the Sheet Options and turn the grid lines on or off by checking or unchecking the box in front of View (under Grid Lines).
The Snap feature I'm aware of: When you are dragging something to a location on the screen, you have a choice of having it land absolutely anywhere (in which case you may have a hard time lining up multiple objects) OR if you select the Snap feature, the screen gets an invisible grid, and when you land something on the screen it will move over to the nearest grid line. Your desktop icons are snapped - you can locate an icon near a location but it will snap over to the nearest invisible gridline. Sometimes you get to choose the spacing of the gridlines.
Electric supply is related to the National Grid in that the National Grid is composed of many supply lines that direct electricity to the National Grid, and this in turn powers the country.
CSS Grid Layout excels at dividing a page into major regions or defining the relationship in terms of size, position, and layer, between parts of a control built from HTML primitives. Like tables, grid layout enables an author to align elements into columns and rows
