∙ 10y agoTornadoes are more likely to lift lighter objects as they generate an upward force with their strong winds. Heavier objects may be more difficult for tornadoes to lift unless they are caught in the vortex of the tornado's winds.
Objects are easier to push or pull depending on factors like their weight, shape, and the surface they are on. Smoother surfaces or objects with wheels can reduce friction, making them easier to push or pull. Lighter objects also require less force to move compared to heavier objects.
A barbell. When you lift heavier weights, the inertia generated by their mass makes it easier to lift them off the ground compared to lighter weights that can be harder to control due to their lower inertia.
It is better if the object is lighter on a catapult because it will be easier to launch with more speed and distance. A heavier object may not travel as far or have the same velocity upon launch.
Lighter pendulums stop faster than heavy ones because they have less inertia, meaning they are easier to slow down. The movement of a pendulum is governed by its kinetic energy and potential energy, where the lighter pendulum has less energy overall to dissipate. This leads to a quicker damping of the oscillations in the lighter pendulum compared to the heavier one.
A lighter truck has less momentum due to its lower mass, making it easier to stop than a heavier truck with equal speed. The heavier truck has more inertia, requiring more force to overcome its momentum and come to a stop.

NOOOO! Do not make that mistake!! A lighter bike is a better bike. I own a Specialized FSR Comp that weighs about 30lbs, but I'll probably lighten it. Lighter bikes are much easier to uphill as well.

Rolling friction is less than sliding friction so it is easier to move heavier objects using wheels.
most thai fighters are lighter anywhere from the love 120lbs range to 145lbs in the usa they have an easier time matching heavier guys
It's more more a question about being differentthan one being actually better than the other.Folders are usually lighter and easier to mount. But being lighter they also tend to be less rugged, easier to rip and to puncture. Often more expensive too.Wire beads are usually heavier and less expensive. And since they're already heavier, they can also have more flat protection and stronger sidewalls.Take your pick.

Usually, smaller calibers are a little easier to pull, but that is just a rule of thumb. Any gun have have a tighter trigger pull. You can take them to the smith and have them adjusted to be a lighter or heavier pull.
Because the density of ice is less than that of water, the ice floats on the water. Think of density as weight. In cheer leading the heavier people pick up the lighter people because it is easier. It is easier for the water to "pick up" the ice because the ice is lighter. Therefore, the ice floats on top of the water instead of sinking to the bottom
the length of the guitar string does not matter, what does matter is the size. what size you use depends on what you play and how well you play. Heavier strings are better for blues and lighter strings are better for metal and rock, lighter stings are easier to do bends on. i would recomend and 11 which is in the middle
ok so the men's basketball is heavier obviously while the girls is a little bit lighter. Therefore the heavier of the ball the more muscel you need to make it go higher. This shows the girls basketball would be easier to bounce high.
