That depends on the kind of polution. If it is polution with (for instance) pure sand or sugar it does not conduct electricity. These kinds of polution do not decompose when dissolved. If the polution consists of salts that are dissolved in the water, than it certainly does conduct electricity. This comes from the fact that the dissolved salt decomposes in positive and negative ions. If an electric current is plave inside the basin, these ions will travel to the opposite electric pole. This movement of charged particles is an electric current.

It is hard to say if the current travelling through poluted water is dangerous, or not. This depends of course on the strength of the current as well as the concentration of the polution.

Yes, dirty water can conduct electricity if it contains impurities like salts or minerals that can carry an electric current. Pure water, on the other hand, is a poor conductor of electricity.

Depending on what's in it.

The more charged ions there are in water, the BETTER in conducts electricity.

Is dirty water conductor or insulator?

it depends on the pollution to be a conductor

How is dirty water a conductor but not clean water?

They both are.

Is water a good a conductor?

Distilled water is a bad conductor. Dirty water, or water with impurities added, is a good conductor. It is not the water that matters, but the impurities.

IS WATER IS A GOOD CONDUCTOR?

Distilled water is a bad conductor. Dirty water, or water with impurities added, is a good conductor. It is not the water that matters, but the impurities.

Is 'dirty water' a good conductor or insulator?

Dirty water can conduct electricity better than clean water because the impurities in the water, such as minerals and particles, increase its conductivity. However, it is still a poorer conductor compared to most metals and should not be used as a substitute for traditional conductors in electrical circuits.

Is water a conducter or insulator?

yes it is a conductor because today we can get hot water and cold water it can be dirty or clean.

Is sea water a conductor or an insulator?

Sea water is a good conductor of electricity due to the presence of dissolved salts and ions. It allows electric current to flow through it easily, which is why it is important to exercise caution around electrical devices when near sea water.

Is dirty water a good conductor?

Dirty water can conduct electricity better than clean water because impurities in the water, like minerals and contaminants, can provide a pathway for the flow of electrons. However, it is not as efficient as metal or saltwater in conducting electricity.

is water conductor or insulator

Is the rain clean water or dirty water?

Rainwater is generally considered clean as it falls from the sky. However, it can pick up pollutants and contaminants as it travels through the air and lands on surfaces, making it potentially dirty depending on the environment it passes through. It is always advisable to collect and filter rainwater before consuming or using it for various purposes.

Is dirty water a good insulator?

Dirty water is not a good insulator because impurities in the water can increase its conductivity, allowing electricity to flow more easily through it. Pure water, on the other hand, is a poor conductor of electricity and can act as an insulator.

Clean water is added to a tank full of dirty water. After some time the tank is full of clean water. Dirty water disappears. What is the principle and how does it work?

The principle is 'dilution': with the first addition of clean water to dirty water, the dirty water becomes less dirty because it is diluted by the clean water. With the continued addition of clean water to dirty water, eventually the dirty water will be completely diluted and there will be no dirty water left; it will all be replaced by clean water.
