A lawn tractor drive pulley is connected to the engine crankshaft and transfers power to the transmission. As the engine rotates, the drive pulley spins and drives the belts that are connected to the transmission, allowing the lawn tractor to move forward or backward. By adjusting the position of the drive pulley on the engine shaft, the speed and direction of the lawn tractor can be controlled.
The velocity ratio of a pulley system is the ratio of the rotational speed of the driving pulley to the driven pulley. It indicates how the speed of the driven pulley relates to the speed of the driving pulley. The formula is: Velocity Ratio = Diameter of driving pulley / Diameter of driven pulley.
Gravitational wobble is the effect of an object being pulled by the gravitational forces of other nearby objects, causing it to slightly shift or wobble in its orbit or rotation. This phenomenon can be observed in celestial bodies like planets and moons as they interact with each other gravitationally.
To calculate the velocity ratio in a pulley system, divide the diameter of the driving pulley by the diameter of the driven pulley. This ratio indicates how much faster or slower the driven pulley rotates compared to the driving pulley. It helps to determine the speed or force transmission in the pulley system.
The driver pulley is the pulley connected to the power source (like a motor), while the driven pulley is connected to the driven load (like a conveyor belt). The driver pulley transfers rotational force to the driven pulley through a belt or chain, allowing the load to be moved or operated.
Things that might cause a pulley to wobble: The pulley is bent. The shaft the pulley is on is bent. The pulley is mounted crooked.
no
yes it turns and it is very hard to remove without the proper tool, you need to go to your favorite auto part website and look for a crankshaft pulley removal tool
The crankshaft pulley is the large pulley on the lower passenger side of the engine.
the crankshaft sensor is located behind the crank pulley. the bottom pulley
The crankshaft position sensor is located at the lower left hand side of the crankshaft pulley. The crankshaft pulley is the large pulley located in the center lower portion of the front of the engine.
The crankshaft pulley has broken causing the outer ring to slide forward into the fan assy. replace your crankshaft pulley and all will be well
The crankshaft pulley unbolts from the harmonic balancer. The harmonic balancer can be removed from the crankshaft with a 3 bolt puller.
The crankshaft pulley is the lowest pulley on the engine. Looking at the engine from the front which is looking at it from the passenger side fender the crank pulley is on the bottom of the engine and has a pulley with a pulley behind it with teeth on it.
Power steering belt to crankshaft pulley. Alternator belt to water pump pulley and to crankshaft. A/C compressor belt to power steering pump and to crankshaft pulley. Smog/Air pump belt to water pump pulley. This is for a truck that had a 2 grove power steering pulley, a 2 grove water pump pulley and a 3 grove crankshaft pulley................
your balancer is bad. balancers are in two peices pressed together by a thin layer of rubber in between the two .
It is located behind the crankshaft pulley and requires the pulley to be removed to change it out.
