The weight of a body depends on the gravitational force exerted by the earth on a body for every object ther are two forces acting on them its either contact force or force field the principle of how gravity exerts weight on a body occurs mostly in both forces,it would be observed that a body(wheel barrow) place in different countries counting two mass(two kegs) when lifted their weight will be different when measured this is as a result of the % of gravitational force contained in each countries

Gravity gives us weight by exerting a force on our bodies that pulls us towards the Earth's center. This force is what we feel as weight when we stand on the ground. The more massive an object is, the greater the force of gravity acting on it and the heavier it feels.

What factors give an object weight?

An object's weight is determined by the gravitational force acting on it. The weight of an object depends on its mass and the acceleration due to gravity at that location. Weight is a force that points in the direction of gravity.

How is gravity different from mass and weight?

Mass is a measure of the amount of matter in an object, weight is the force of gravity acting on an object due to its mass, and gravity is the natural force of attraction between objects with mass. In simple terms, mass is what an object is made of, weight is the force with which it is pulled down by gravity, and gravity is what causes that force.

Does gravity cause weight?

Yes, gravity is the force that causes objects with mass to be attracted to one another. On Earth, this force is what gives us weight, as it pulls us towards the center of the planet. Weight is a measure of the force of gravity acting on an object's mass.

How weight and force related?

Weight is the force exerted on an object by gravity, measured in newtons (N). The force of gravity acting on an object determines its weight. The formula to calculate weight is weight = mass x gravity, where mass is the amount of matter in an object and gravity is the acceleration due to gravity.

How gravity affect weight?

Gravity is the force that pulls objects towards each other. On Earth, gravity pulls objects towards the center of the planet, creating weight. The strength of gravity determines an object's weight - the greater the gravitational force, the heavier the object will feel.

Gravity is what gives us our weight. It is how much gravity is pulling on us.

Does gravity give air weight?

Yes.

Does gravity give you mass?

No, it gives you weight. Mass does not change in the presence of gravity.

Does earths gravity give weight to matter?

Yes. Earth's*

How is a my weight uses with graviyt?

Without gravity, you would be weightless, as in the vacuum of outer space. It is the gravity of the Earth that gives us our weight.

Does the moon give us gravity?

The moon exerts a gravitational influence on Earth. It causes the tides in the oceans, and, when directly overhead, it reduces your weight by a tiny amount.

Why do you weight less in space?

Here on earth, gravity pulls us down, so the power that pulls us back makes our weight. In space you don't have gravity so nothing will pull us down. You don't weight less in space, you weight nothing in space! That's why we have "mass"

What is a measure of the gravitation force on an object?

I believe it is weight... gravity pulls down on a scale and that's what gives us our weight. +++ Weight = the object's mass X the acceleration due to gravity - on Earth the mean value of g is 9.8metres/second^2

What is gravity's relationship to weight?

Gravity is the cause of weight. Increased gravity creates increased weight, decreased gravity decreases weight.

How are gravity and weight related?

weight is the effect caused by gravity. if gravity increases, so does your weight!
