Energy in all forms (electrical, mechanical, chemical, thermal) can change from different forms. For example, consider a piece of coal in a power plant. The burning piece of coal is transforms from chemical to thermal energy. If the thermal energy (heat) boils water, it's transform to an another form of chemical energy. Then, if it turns a turbine, it's changed to mechanical energy. Then, finally, the turbine turns a generator and makes electricity (electrical energy).

Energy can change from one form to another in various processes like transformation, conversion, or transfer. This principle is known as the law of conservation of energy, where energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only transferred or converted from one form to another.

Does energy change form and appear and disappear?

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but it can change forms. Energy can appear to "disappear" when it transforms into a different form that is not as easily recognizable, such as potential energy converting to kinetic energy.

Can energy be destroyed and created?

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, according to the law of conservation of energy. It can only be converted from one form to another.

What is the change of energy from one form to another?

The change of energy from one form to another is known as energy transformation. Energy can be transformed from one form to another form (e.g., chemical to thermal, kinetic to potential) according to the conservation of energy principle, which states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transferred or converted from one form to another.

Finish quote Energy cannot be created or destroyed but can be.....?

The quote is "energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change forms"

What about energy can change and what does not change according to the law?

Energy can change in form or be transferred from one object to another, as stated in the law of conservation of energy. However, the total energy in a closed system remains constant, meaning that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only converted from one form to another.

What is energy change?

energy cannot be created nor destroyed it can only change from one energy into another and this law is known as the: CONSERVATION OF ENERGY

How can you tell if energy is changing from one form to another?

You can tell if energy is changing from one form to another by observing if there is a change in the type of energy or how the energy is being used. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but it can change forms, such as from potential to kinetic energy in a falling object or from chemical energy to light and heat energy in a fire.

How is chemical change related to chemical change?

AnswerDuring a chemical change, chemical energy may be changed to other forms of energy. Other forms of energy may also be changed to chemical energy. Chemical change- A change in which one or more substances combine or break apart to form new substances.Chemical energy- a form of potential energy that is stored in chemical bonds between atoms.

What energy can change from on form to another but cant be created or destroyed?

The energy that can change from one form to another but cannot be created or destroyed is known as "energy conservation." According to the law of conservation of energy, the total energy in a closed system remains constant over time, even as it may change forms such as kinetic, potential, thermal, or chemical energy.

What is any change form one form of energy to another form of energy?

Energy transformation is the process of converting energy from one form to another, such as from electrical energy to thermal energy in a toaster. This conversion follows the law of conservation of energy, which states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed from one form to another.

What is matter and the law of conservation of matter?

The total amount of mass-energy in a closed system cannot change. Energy can change from one form to another, Mass can change from one form to another, Energy can change to Mass, or Mass can change to Energy; but the total must remain constant. Since Mass and Energy are traditionally measured in different units, we need a units conversion equation to tell us how much of each has changed to the other to get the equations right. Einstein provided us with that from his Special Relativity: E = Mc2
