It is not recommended to use a hair straightener to straighten paper, as it can easily burn or damage the paper. It is best to use a flat, heavy object like a book or ruler to flatten curled paper.

you should never straighten your hair when its wet or damp because the heat from the straightener will definitely burn your hair so you should always make sure that your hair is completely dry before you you use a straightener on your hair. An oil (like Moroccan oil or Fekkai) or relaxing serum (like paul mitchel) will help..if you use a product like that after you shower and then use a hair dryer to dry your hair, that will get your hair pretty straight....I think that's the closest thing to straightening your hair besides from using a hair straightener.
