Thermal power plants use fossil fuels like natural gas and coal. To derive energy form fossil fuels they got fired in plants. You dont need extra help from nature like renewable energies. For instance to operate a wind power plant you need good wind blow, or for hydro power you need water flow in the river(rain). If the wind doesnt blow the turbines do not work and you can not derive energy; if there is no rain, that means no flow in the rivers and you can not have electricity in the hydro power plant.

Contrary to this, the efficiency of the thermal power plants doesnt belong to nature, you can have electricity as long as you feed materials to the plant (coal, natural gas..) Besides, the capacities of the thermal power plants belong to the investor, the more material they have the larger the capacity.

However the thermal power plants cause green house gas emissions, especially CO2,SO2 and NO2 which contribute to global warming directly. In addition some of them discharge hot water to the rivers or seas and increases the water temp which affects the natural life negatively for both animals and plants in the vicinity. Besides, the materials that the thermal power plants need are not infinite and we have already consumed most of them.

Since we need energy for almost everthing we do in the normal life we need power plants anyway. But also we have to consider those advantages and disadvantages before establishing a thermal power plant and then decide what is beneficial for both the vicinity and the whole world, to do it or not..

How is dendrothermal energy used?

Dendrothermal energy involves using heat from burning wood or biomass to generate heat and electricity. It is commonly used in residential heating systems, industrial applications, and power plants. The heat generated from burning organic materials like wood is converted into thermal energy through processes like combustion or gasification.

Sources of energy for electricity dendrothermal?

Dendrothermal energy, also known as wood energy, uses wood or biomass as a fuel source for producing electricity. This can come from various sources such as forest residues, wood chips, sawdust, and agricultural waste. The combustion of these materials generates heat, which is then used to produce steam to drive turbines and generators for electricity generation.

What are Advantages and disadvantages of elastic energy?

no

What are the advantages and disadvantages of sound energy?

Advantages of sound energy include its non-polluting and renewable nature, making it a sustainable energy source. However, a major disadvantage is that sound energy is not easily converted into other forms of energy like electricity, limiting its practical applications. Additionally, sound energy is inefficiency transferred over long distances due to its tendency to dissipate.

What is dendrothermal power plant?

A dendrothermal power plant is a type of biomass power plant that generates electricity by burning wood or other biomass materials to produce heat, which is then used to generate steam and drive a turbine connected to a generator. This process converts the energy stored in biomass into electrical power, offering a renewable and clean energy source.
