Swansong, choreographed by Christopher Bruce was first performed in 1987 at the Teatro Arriago, Bilbao, Spain. His choreography was continued until 1995.

First premiered by ballet Rambert (known then as Rambert dance company) on 3rd July 1981 at bristol Theatre Royal.
