We hear about Desdemona in the first scene when Iago tells Brabantio that she has eloped with Othello. She makes her first entrance in Act 1 Scene 3 and her first line is "My lord, I do perceive here a divided duty."
Othello is a person of high moral standards. He does not run when apprehended by Brabantio and his group, nor does he fight. He is prepared to justify his actions in marrying Desdemona before the court and he does so. Even though he is newly married, his sense of duty tells him that he must go to fight the Turks. When faced with one of his officers who disgraces himself, he demotes him even though he is a close personal friend. Doing what is right is more important than taking care of his friend Cassio. But all this gets turned on its head when Iago finds his weak spot (which is oddly enough one of his many virtues, his humility) and twists the knife. In the upside-down world created by the fiction of Desdemona's supposed infidelity, Othello tries to act morally, and finds moral justification for his action. What Desdemona is doing is wrong, she needs to be eliminated not only to protect Othello but also to protect others, the most appropriate punishment would be to strangle her in the bed she has defiled--in this way Othello (with help from Iago) finds moral justification for his action. And when the upside-down world collapses around him and he sees Desdemona for what she really was and his actions for the crimes they were, he does not shrink. He asks for understanding, "nothing extenuate", that is, not as an excuse, because he knows the remedy for his crime, and he administers it himself.
In Act II Scene 3, Iago knows that Cassio's weakness is unable to tolerate alcohol therefore he targets this weakness and persuades Cassio to drink with him. At first Cassio said no to Iago's offer because he was assigned to be on duty at night however, he ends up drinking anyways because of Iago's persistent persuasion. Iago's plan was slowly progressing. After a great amount of alcohol consumption, Cassio became drunk and went to the washroom by himself. While he was doing his business, an unknown man which was Roderigo disguised with a beard, pushed him from behind. This action angers Cassio therefore he chases the "unknown man". At the same time, Iago was talking to Montano about Cassio's drinking problem. Cassio runs into Iago and Montano, a fight occurs and Montano gets injured as Iago stabs him without anyone else noticing. The fight causes Othello to appear and strips Cassio of his rank because "he" injured Montano.
Othello, Oedipus, and Antigone are all tragic heroes. They do great deeds and have great power or strength. For example, Othello defeats Venice's enemies. Oedipus defeats the Sphinx and frees Thebes from heavy taxes. Antigone makes sure that a Theban right is a Theban due.But fatal character flaws destroy the lives of all three heroes. All three suffer from pride and uncontrolled passion. Othello is so proud of his integrity and courage that he doesn't recognize his violent temper and his manipulability by Iago. Oedipus is so proud of his intelligence that he tries to escape a horrendous fate. He's so proud of his personal and professional accomplishments that he doesn't look the gift horses of throne and wife in the mouth. Antigone is so proud of her commitment to the true, the right, the proper, and the correct that she doesn't respect differing, less passionate opinions.Additionally, all three of the heroes make duty their first priority. They do so to the exclusion of all else. Othello makes the sanctity of his marriage vows his quest. So he listens to the villainous Iago and ignores the oaths of Desdemona and the whisperings of his own conscience and his own heart. Oedipus makes the tracking down and punishing of his royal predecessor's murderer his quest. So he offends Creon, his brother-in-law and uncle; insults his friend, Teiresias the blind prophet; destroys Jocasta, his mother and his queen; and alienates not only his twin sons but also all of Thebes. And Antigone makes the proper burying of Polyneices, her traitorous brother, her quest. To that end, she sacrifices companionship, family ties, and romance.

Call of Duty Black Opps
The best theme from the Mahabharata would depend on personal interpretation, but many consider the concept of dharma or duty to be a central theme. The epic explores complex moral dilemmas and the consequences of choices made in adherence or violation of one's duty. This theme raises questions about righteousness, fate, and the nature of war and justice.
Wingmen principles apply only on duty.
A statement that best describes the philosophy of Sir Robert Filmer is government's principle duty is to protect the individual rights of citizens. It would not be government's principle duty is to enforce the rule of law.
