Yes they did! they used meant otherwise it would not be a play.
physical theatre is different from regular theatre in the way that regular theater uses many lines and the props are made by people but physical theatre does not use props and tends to use bodies to create objects and scenes much physical theatre is in paris and a typical mime is the besta example of this ;)

Do set the scene using minimal props and costumes, focus on vocal expression and character development, and engage with the audience through eye contact and gestures. Don't rely on memorization, use elaborate sets or costumes, or read from a script without emotion or connection to the text.
Physical theatre is a general term used to describe any mode of performance that pursues storytelling through primarily physical means. There are several quite distinct traditions of performance which all describe themselves using the term "physical theatre", which has led to a lot of confusion as to what the definition of physical theatre actually isHope this helps!:)It basically means drama without words. Hope I helped x :DWrong. So wrong.Physical theatre stems from many different areas, but essentially means theatre that focuses on telling a story through the body. This does not necessarily mean that it doesn't use other elements (voice/staging.costume etc) but does mean that physicality holds a strong relevance.
The reason for using Physical Theatre is Drama is basically because it adds more of a twist to the story and makes it more effective. Without this the audience watching wouldn't be as more intriged to the story of the piece. All in all Physical Theatre is not only eye catching but creates tension to the piece of acting.
