you might need to do a acting seen as the captain of a football team you just never know
For acting, you definetly need a presentable figure. A good voice, that works for your face. And a backround in singing and acting extra curricular activities.
You can commonly get them at normal high schools, colleges and universitys. If not, look for a local drama school you can attend.
Hi there, it really depends, a handful of young people in the movie industry don't have degrees at all. For theatre (acting on stage) though I think you'd be safe with a BFA (Bachelors Fine Arts). I'm pretty sure you can also get a MFA (Masters Fine Arts) from some colleges as well. Hope this helps!
Well for theater acting, you would need props, a set, microphone headsets for the actors. In terms of acting for tv, you will need a green screen, a camer, a tripod, and a director.
What grades do you have to have to get into most colleges?
very good ones but you might need to find other colleges if you dont have good grades
The Grades you need are b or higher to qualify you also need a scholarship to get into those types of colleges they are expensive up to 200,000 to 500,000
1. Link to acting schools, colleges, USA.
yes. selective colleges want people with good grades in everything. However, if your major is something like science, colleges would put less emphasis on foreign language grades
How long are acting colleges?
No there are not
Your high school will submit your transcripts to the colleges and universities when you apply. Final transcripts will also be sent to the colleges.
If your going to go to a college for training the best way to find out what type of grades is too see what the requirements are at the college you wish to attended. As colleges have an average around 70 and up depending on the school.
Community colleges are not only more affordable but provide an excellent education even for those with mediocre grades. These colleges are more readily accepting of their applicants.
To do acting as a career you usually need 5 grades A-D or more. Expressive Arts subjects are usually preferred aswel such as Drama or Dance or Media. For most colleges, when it comes to acting, they usually look more for talent or experiences rather than grades. Most appreciate that although their students may not be highly academic they may have good creative ability. If you have a background in drama/theatre clubs then make it be known in your interview! When you apply for an acting course, you will usually submit your application and then be invited to attend an interview/audition. The interview is so they can get a better understanding of who you are (personality/behaviour) and the audition to judge your talent and suitability to the course. All in all, don't worry too much about your grades - if you achieve just average marks don't worry, just make sure you've got the talent and confidence to blow them away at your interview/audition!Good luck!Lizzy x
No pass, no play. If they make good, high grades then there is a smaller chance of them NOT passing.
