If you mean how many Python's were there the answer is 6.
69 Edit: What. No. There are 6. Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam, and Michael Palin.
It's called comedy, and Jews are an easy group to target for that style of it.
John Cleese left after the third season, feeling as though Monty Python had written all the sketches they could without repeating themselves and he wanted to move on with his career. A few episodes were made for the fourth season but the remaining Pythons knew that Cleese was a powerful brainstormer and actor on the show and without him they wouldn't last long. The fourth season was cut short and the series subsequently ended.

Monty Python has not collectively written a book, but members of Monty Python of written books. Eric Idle has written several. Graham Chapman wrote an autobiography and I believe the Pythons are reuniting to make the book a movie.
Monty Python is widely regarded as one of the most influential comedy groups of all time in the UK. They consisted of John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, Eric Idle and Terry Gilliam ( although Gilliam mainly did just the animation) They made a tv series called 'Monty Pythons flying Circus' which was very random and surreal comedy. They then went on to make several films. The most popular being 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' a spoof of King Arthur and his escapades and 'Life of Brian' a parody of the life of Jesus which caused uproar in the religious community.
