Which Globe Theatre are you talking about? We know it was performed at least once at the first Globe in London, in April of 1610.
It is globe shaped. Globe means sphere shaped so if you use the world globe most people automatically know you are talking about a spherical object

We know this because during the play the roof of the theatre caught fire and it burned to the ground. Nobody was seriously hurt.
