Hope
What is hope?
Hope is a tissue, wiping away your problems and fears.
Hope is a a bright sun ray warming your heart and soul.
Hope is a tattered teddy bear. hugging your tears, making them tears of joy.
Hope is a striving flower in a dried and silty ground.
Hope is a butterfly fluttering around a gardon of weeds.
Hope is a twinkling star in a sky of black clouds.
That is hope.
Can it be (this is my poem don't take) by: me
Can a river be a river if you stop it's flow?
Can a turtle be a turtle if it doesn't move slow?
Can a person be a person without a personality?
All this I cannot see.
An Autumn
In autumn breeze,
There are perfect memories-
Hidden and silent.

Roses are red
violets are blue
this poem is beautiful and so are you
This door you might not open, and you did;
So enter now, and see for what slight thing
You are betrayed. . . . Here is no treasure hid,
No cauldron, no clear crystal mirroring
The sought-for truth, no heads of women slain 5
For greed like yours, no writhings of distress,
But only what you see. . . . Look yet again
An empty room, cobwebbed and comfortless.
Yet this alone out of my life I kept
Unto myself, lest any know me quite; 10
And you did so profane me when you crept
Unto the threshold of this room to-night
That I must never more behold your face.
This now is yours. I seek another place.
"Bluebeard," by Edna St. Vincent Millay
