Reading, Board Games, cards and drawing are great activities for children who are recovering in bed. Occaisionally, going into the garden or outside for a small walk (if they are well enough) are a great help too, because it gets them fresh air and cleanses their lungs. Being indoors means cooping them up with germs that they breathe in and out while being in bed. If they are not well enough to go outside, try opening the bedroom window as this cleanses the air.

Once I remember being sick when I was ill and played on my DS!! TV can sometimes be a problem but it is a good thing to pass time when you're ill.
