- he made everyone understand that nothing is impossible if you try

- he made everyone know it's okay to have a dream

- he made everyone take a stand to fight cancer

- he made everyone to think twice about what he was running for (a cure for cancer)

- he was very selfless in that he didn't only care about his cancer, he cared about everybody else's also
